Overview

2fawcett are seeking a Bookkeeper to join a well-established and reputable accountancy practice based in West Yorkshire (WF15)

Our client prides themselves on their commitment to delivering accurate and reliable accounting services and they’re looking for a new member of the team with experience working in a practice environment.

The Role & Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper

– Bookkeeping for a range of clients
– Posting purchase and sales invoices
– Reconciling bank transactions in accounting software
– General client communication by phone and email
– Preparing quarterly VAT returns
– Managing your own client list
– Chasing and processing client records on time
– Helping prepare year-end accounts for manager review

Requirements of the Bookkeeper
Experience working in an Accountancy firm
Ideally AAT qualified
Experience using Quickbooks is advantageous
Confident user of spreadsheets/Excel
