2fawcett are supporting an engineering business with a proud history. We’re looking for a well-organised and experienced Bookkeeper join our client’s friendly team and manage all aspects of invoicing, credit control, payment processing, and accounts preparation.

 

The Bookkeeper Role: As a pivotal part of our client’s team, you will:

  • Manage Sales and Purchase Ledger
  • Handle self-billing and statement reconciliations
  • Oversee credit control and bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Payroll administration
  • VAT Returns
  • Prepare month and year end accounts
  • General office support

 

Requirements of the Bookkeeper:

  • Experience: Hands on experience with accounting software’s such as Sage and bookkeeping
  • Qualifications: Formal qualifications (AAT / ACCA / CIMA) or qualified by experience considered.
  • Attributes: Reliable, motivated, hardworking, self-organised, and able to handle confidential information
