Job Title: Accounts Administrator (Part-Time)
Location: Derby (DE22)
Salary: Up to £30,000 pro rata
Job Type: Permanent | On-site | Part-time (15–20 hours per week)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Administrator to join a well-established accountancy practice based near Derby city centre.
This role is ideal for someone with previous experience working within an accountancy practice, who can support the smooth day-to-day running of the office while providing administrative support to both staff and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Filing and organising accounts documentation
- Supporting with the preparation and submission of tax returns
- Providing general administrative support to accountants
- Managing and maintaining accurate records and documentation
Requirements
- Accountancy practice background is essential
- Previous experience working in a similar role would be ideal
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Professional telephone manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
