Role: Accounts Administrator
Salary: Up to £28,000
Location: Ripley, Derbyshire
Type: Full time, Permanent

2fawcett are recruiting for an Accounts Administrator, to join a an established business located in Ripley.

This is a varied, fast-paced role where you’ll manage core accounts processes, keep the office running efficiently, and provide essential support across the team.

The Role & Responsibilities of the Accounts Administrator

  • Managing purchase ledger, including supplier invoices and payments
  • Completing bank reconciliations and supporting VAT returns
  • Monitoring aged creditors and resolving supplier queries
  • Assisting with payroll administration and month-end processes
  • Acting as first point of contact for office enquiries
  • Managing calls, emails, correspondence, and office supplies
  • Supporting HR administration, filing, data entry, and general office support

Requirements of the Accounts Administrator

  • Previous experience in accounts or finance administration
  • Good understanding of basic accounting processes
  • Confident using accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Clear communicator with a professional, friendly approach
  • Able to prioritise workload and handle confidential information
