Role: Accounts Administrator
Salary: Up to £28,000
Location: Ripley, Derbyshire

2fawcett are recruiting for an Accounts Administrator, to join a an established business located in Ripley.
This is a varied, fast-paced role where you’ll manage core accounts processes, keep the office running efficiently, and provide essential support across the team.
The Role & Responsibilities of the Accounts Administrator
- Managing purchase ledger, including supplier invoices and payments
- Completing bank reconciliations and supporting VAT returns
- Monitoring aged creditors and resolving supplier queries
- Assisting with payroll administration and month-end processes
- Acting as first point of contact for office enquiries
- Managing calls, emails, correspondence, and office supplies
- Supporting HR administration, filing, data entry, and general office support
Requirements of the Accounts Administrator
- Previous experience in accounts or finance administration
- Good understanding of basic accounting processes
- Confident using accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Clear communicator with a professional, friendly approach
- Able to prioritise workload and handle confidential information
