Overview

2fawcett are delighted to be recruiting for an Account Manager to join a well-established and highly regarded food manufacturing business based in Lincoln. This is a newly created role, offering a fantastic opportunity to join a recognised name within their Industry.

This position is ideal for a junior to mid-level candidate with a couple of years’ experience in a similar role, particularly within the food sector. If you’re looking to build on your industry knowledge, develop your commercial skills, and work closely with key accounts and markets, this role offers excellent exposure and progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and manage reports, including data analysis, system updates, and data maintenance
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders
• Support account growth across existing and new markets, including retail, food service, and export
• Liaise with buyers and buying teams to support account performance
• Assist in planning and executing promotional activities
• Identify opportunities to drive sales growth and expand market presence
• Contribute to marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns
• Collaborate closely with internal teams including planning, logistics, and production
• Travel to other sites as required

Requirements

• Previous experience (circa 2+ years) in an Account Manager or similar commercial role
• Experience within the food industry, particularly working with food categories or retailers
• Proactive, driven, and positive attitude
• Strong work ethic with a genuine passion for the industry
• Excellent IT skills, including data handling and reporting
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
