Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 plus 10% bonus

Hybrid Working (3 days on-site, 2 remote)

2fawcett are working with a well-established UK business seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead and evolve their internal technology function. This role has full ownership of infrastructure, systems, security, suppliers and digital improvement initiatives.

The Role:

You’ll take responsibility for the stability, security and future direction of the company’s IT environment. This includes overseeing networks, applications, hardware, vendors and budgets, while driving system improvements and supporting wider digital transformation, including responsible use of AI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and maintain the organisation’s IT infrastructure, systems and networks
• Lead system upgrades, new technology implementations and integrations
• Ensure strong cybersecurity, access control, backups and patching processes
• Manage IT suppliers, contracts and third-party relationships
• Oversee IT budgets, forecasting and cost justification
• Ensure business continuity and minimal system downtime
• Act as a strategic advisor on technology and digital change
• Support and develop internal users through training and guidance
• Streamline processes using technology and automation

Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure and operations
• Strong understanding of networks, systems security and business applications
• Experience working with external suppliers and managing contracts
• Comfortable owning budgets and contributing to IT strategy
• Interest or experience in digital transformation and AI governance
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
