A market leading Automotive remanufacturer, offering remanufacturing solutions for the automotive aftermarket. As a key member of our Research & Development team, you’ll play a vital role in designing and implementing cutting-edge test solutions for advanced automotive electronics.
The Role & Responsibilities of the Test Development Engineer
- HIL Test Systems: Develop and optimize closed-loop test systems using LabVIEW within established hardware frameworks.
- Custom Test Hardware: Design and build bespoke HIL solutions, including electronic circuit design, PCB layouts, and material fabrication.
- Test Automation: Implement automated testing frameworks to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability.
- Post-Deployment Support: Maintain, troubleshoot, and refine HIL systems, ensuring seamless integration between hardware and software components.
Requirements of the Test Development Engineer
- Proven expertise in developing closed-loop test solutions for embedded systems, ideally in automotive or electronics industries.
- Advanced proficiency in LabVIEW development.
- Strong hardware and software design skills with hands-on system integration experience.
- A methodical approach to problem-solving in high-pressure environments.
- Experience in debugging and optimizing real-time hardware and software systems.
- Deep understanding of automotive systems, wiring diagrams, electronics, and communication protocols.
