We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our client on a permanent basis. The successful candidate would be part of a growing team to help delivering projects across the UK water industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with strong MEICA experience to take a leading role in the successful delivery of complex engineering schemes.

 

The Role:

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of site works across multiple projects. You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and work closely with clients and project stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day site operations across civil and MEICA works.
  • Supervise mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control installations.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, CDM regulations, and company procedures.
  • Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Monitor programme, cost, and quality performance.
  • Attend design, progress, and commissioning meetings.
  • Maintain site documentation, permits, and temporary works records.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and promote a strong safety-first culture.
  • Act as the main site liaison for clients and senior management.

 

The Candidate:

You will be an experienced Site Manager with a strong technical background and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

  • SMSTS.
  • CSCS Card.
  • First Aid at Work.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Proven experience in the water industry or similar utilities environment.

 

Desirable:

  • MEICA qualifications or training.
  • Temporary Works Supervisor.
  • A61 Appointed Person.
  • Knowledge of DSEAR and ATEX environments.
