2fawcett Infrastructure are recruiting on behalf of our client, a respected UK provider of integrated energy and infrastructure solutions.

The business delivers complete project services across electricity transmission and distribution, renewable generation, EV infrastructure, metering and home-energy projects.

The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee large-scale electrical transmission projects throughout the UK.
You’ll be part of a national management team responsible for the civil and M&E delivery of major EPC and framework projects on behalf of leading energy network operators.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading multidisciplinary project teams through the full lifecycle — from planning to commissioning
• Providing clear direction on health, safety and environmental standards
• Delivering projects to agreed programme, budget and quality targets
• Working with planners to develop and monitor progress schedules
• Driving collaboration across construction, commercial, design and engineering functions
• Managing risk, opportunity and change across the portfolio
• Offering technical and contractual guidance to resolve issues promptly
• Supporting tender activity and contributing to project bids
• Overseeing cost management and monthly CVR processes with the commercial team
• Promoting a culture of performance, accountability and continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring

• 5 + years’ experience leading major design-and-build infrastructure projects
• Practical knowledge of high-voltage substation construction and transmission frameworks
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
• Qualification in construction, engineering or project management (APM, PMP etc.)
• Strong commercial background with NEC Option C or similar contracts
• Thorough understanding of HSWA, CDM, EAWR and other relevant regulations
• Track record of delivering complex projects safely, on time and within budget
• Competence in project-management and reporting software
