Salary: up to £55,000 + £4,800 car allowance & impressive benefits package
Location: Derby (hybrid).  Travel to UK sites as required

2Fawcett – Construction & Infrastructure are proud to be partnering with a leading Tier 1 specialist consultancy in their search for a key appointment of a Senior Commercial Manager.  Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commercial activities relating to projects across Rail, Highways, Marine Utilities and Defence. Responsibilities will be to minimise and mitigate commercial risks through the effective management of contracts and supply chain engagement and assuring compliance with current finance and commercial legislation, as well as compliance with our customers’ policies and procedures.

A background in working at a senior commercial level within a main contractor and experience with NEC and JCT contracts is essential.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience at Senior Commercial level within a main contractor
• Detailed working knowledge of contract/commercial law
• Experience of working at a commercial capacity within senior management teams
• NEC and JCT Contract experience
• Effective supply chain and client engagement

Desirable Qualifications & Skills

• MRICS qualified highly desirable/degree educated in a relevant subject.
