Overview of the Sales Administrator
2fawcett are recruiting for a Sales Administrator for a busy Trade Counter in Burton on Trent. This role will suit someone who has done a similar role previously or someone who is confident and has face to face customer service and administration experience.

Responsibilities for the Sales Administrator

  • You will be based in a busy trade counter, dealing primarily with tradesmen but also members of the general public
  • You will initially be taking messages and details of quotations and orders, that need accurately recording and passing to colleagues. With training, you will be supplying quotations and processing orders using an in-house software.
  • You will be unloading deliveries which involves some heavy lifting and processing delivery notes, you will contact customers to arrange collections and deliveries of their goods.
  • You will raise invoices, using simple software and liaise with our main accounts office based in Derby to ensure that payments are received and processed in a timely manner
  • You will be maintaining stock control with a basic monthly stock check and ordering goods as necessary

Requirements of the Sales Administrator

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident dealing with customers on the phone, by email and face to face
  • Basic IT skills will be required with some knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Previous Customer service experience would be an advantage but not essential
  • Previous experience working on a busy trade counter is an advantage but not essential
