Overview
2fawcett are recruiting for a Purchasing Coordinator to join our client based in Nottingham on a full time, permanent basis. As the Purchasing Coordinator, you will Support the Head of Buying and the Procurement team to ensure the purchasing requirements of the business are fulfilled in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities of the Purchasing Coordinator
Raising of purchase orders as identified and requested by the buying team
Supporting the management of the open order book to ensure the timely delivery of materials in line the production requirements of the business
Processing of supplier Purchase Order Acknowledgements and working with the buying team to manage any exceptions
Daily review of both Outstanding and Overdue Purchase Order reports, to ensure accuracy of purchasing information for the business
Updating and maintaining supplier pricing within the company’s ERP system
Liaising closely with suppliers and the buying team
Provide both direct and indirect support to the Head of Buying

Requirements of the Purchasing Coordinator
Experience in a similar role essential
Manufacturing background
Procurement knowledge
A confident communicator able to effectively engage and influence suppliers, and colleagues at all levels of the business

MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel

ERP systems (MS Navision)
