Salary: Up to £85,000 + car or car allowance

About the Opportunity

A leading UK infrastructure contractor operating across the energy sector is looking to appoint Project Managers to support the delivery of electricity infrastructure projects across the UK.

Working on long-term power frameworks, the business delivers substation, cabling, and network reinforcement schemes essential to the UK’s net zero ambitions.

These roles suit Project Managers with a solid background in energy infrastructure who want stability, progression, and exposure to major regional programmes.

The Role

As a Project Manager, you will support the successful delivery of energy projects, working closely with the operational team and client teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to budget.

You can be based from any of the offices UK Wide, with hybrid working available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the delivery of projects
  • Supporting programme, cost and risk management across live schemes
  • Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with client stakeholders
  • Managing change control, reporting and project governance
  • Ensuring safety and quality standards are met across all activities

About You

  • Experience as a Project Manager within the energy sector
  • Background in distribution networks, substations or transmission works
  • Experience working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor within the power sector
  • Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercially aware with a proactive, delivery-focused mindset
