Role: Part Time Financial Controller
Location: Belper
Hours: 24 hours per week over 3 days (8 hours per day)
Salary: £60,000 full-time equivalent (£36,000 for 24 hours)
Type: Permanent, office based.
2fawcett are seeking a qualified and experienced Financial Controller to join our client’s team. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations within our care environment, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations. This is a part-time role, with a supportive team and a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Financial Controller:
- Oversee the full finance function of the business, reporting into the Director.
- Prepare and analyse monthly Profit & Loss statements by house and on a consolidated basis.
- Supervise and mentor the Finance Manager and the finance team.
- Develop and implement financial procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage cash flow to ensure financial stability and liquidity.
- Prepare for audits and liaise with auditors for seamless audit processes.
- Handle quarterly covenants for the bank and maintain communication with banking partners.
- Conduct due diligence for financial transactions and agreements.
- Liaise with authorities regarding fee adjustments.
- Prepare forecasts and budgets as needed.
Qualifications and Experience of the Financial Controller:
- ACCA / CIMA qualification is required.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantage.
