Requirements of the role include:

• Carry out maintenance, refurbishment, and construction of overhead power lines up to 400kV, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, company protocols, and industry standards.
• Travel as required, with flexibility to work at various locations across the UK.
• Climb poles, perform rigging, and complete related tasks to install and dismantle overhead line equipment.
• Inspect and test power lines and auxiliary systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform steel-work replacements and repairs as necessary.
• Maintain and repair existing overhead power lines.
• Participate in ongoing training to improve knowledge and expertise in overhead line operations.

Requirements of the candidate include:

• Previous hands-on experience working on high voltage towers ranging from 132kV to 400kV.
• Experience with various conductor configurations and types, supported by a proven track record.
• Competence and confidence in working at height.
• Adaptability and a flexible approach to work assignments.
