2fawcett are recruiting for an office and accounts manager to work for a contractor based in Draycott.

Working for this niche contractor you will be responsible for the day-to-day running’s of the office and accounts with support from the owner of the business. As the office and accounts manager you will have a scope to implement new ways of working and will be responsible for managing your own time accordingly.

The Role & Responsibilities of the Office and Accounts Manager

  • Overseeing payroll (PAYE) and answering payroll queries
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • VAT Posting and returns
  • Raising and processing sales orders
  • Raising invoices
  • Credit control
  • Financial reporting including month end and full year close processes and associated reporting
  • Creating and checking purchase orders
  • Processing of staff expenses
  • Supporting the owner of the business in budget setting and re-forecasting to include rolling cash-flow monitoring, balance sheet projections and profit and loss reviews.
  • Preparing weekly payment run for approvals
  • Overseeing general office duties including answering customer queries via email and telephone
  • Meeting and greeting clients

Requirements of the Office and Accounts manager

  • Previous experience of running a small but busy office would be advantageous
  • Qualified by experience or formal qualifications are considered
  • Ability to prioritise own workload is essential
