Job Summary:
2Fawcett Recruitment are supporting a leading industrial engineering company who is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join their team.
This hands-on role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical systems and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults promptly and effectively.
- Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, and equipment performance.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to optimize machinery efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety standards and company policies.
- Suggest improvements or modifications to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Technical certification or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.
