JOB TITLE: Mechanical Fitter (Rail)

SALARY: UP TO £37,000 + overtime available

LOCATION: Doncaster, South Yorkshire

2fawcett Recruitment are working with one of the UK’s leading providers within the rail network, who has an incredible reputation for innovation and driving growth within the business. They’re now on the lookout for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their team.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performing mechanical repairs and maintenance on rail freight vehicles
• Conducting inspections and diagnosing issues
• Carrying out damage repairs
• Consistently following strict health and safety regulations

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Enthusiastic about hands-on mechanical tasks
• Experienced within the rail industry
• Eager to learn and grow, fully committed to the training process
• Capable of following instructions and working safely under supervision

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

• Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent NVQ Level 3.
• Previous experience in the rail industry.
