Responsibilities:

  • Installation & Commissioning: Take charge of installing and commissioning CNC plasma, oxyfuel, and laser cutting machines to our high standards.
  • Customer Training: Provide top-notch training to customers, ensuring they understand the operation and maintenance of their machines.
  • Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Work closely with fellow engineers to enhance service quality and support the overall success of the team.
  • Customer Relations: Utilize your mechanical expertise to explain necessary spare part replacements during services and promote service contracts to clients.
  • Performance Metrics: Deliver against key support performance metrics, focusing on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Travel: Support installations primarily within the UK & Ireland, with occasional travel to Scotland, England, and France.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Mechanical Expertise: Strong mechanical skills, particularly in leveling and rail adjustments. Electrical knowledge is a plus.
  • Organizational Skills: Hyper-organized with the ability to prepare meticulously for each job and arrive punctually.
  • Communication Skills: Confident in engaging with customers and explaining complex technical details in an approachable manner.
  • CNC Proficiency: Comfortable operating CNC machinery and understanding its intricacies.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years in installing and servicing industrial machines.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in written and spoken communication, with solid PC skills and familiarity with the MS Office suite.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively, averaging 2 nights away per week.
  • Growth Mindset: A passion for continuous learning and a proactive approach to new challenges.
  • Integrity: Honest, punctual, and holding a full, clean driving license.
