2Fawcett are recruiting for a Marketing Manager, to join a great business in Alfreton on a permanent basis. As the Marketing Manager, you will take complete responsibility for the full marketing function, with the opportunity to make the role your own by utilising your marketing and management skills.

The Role & Responsibilities of the Marketing Manager

Devising, implementing and executing a social media strategy
Campaign creation in line with future sales plans. Monitor and report on success rates
Develop and deliver the annual marketing strategy in line with business goals
Managing email campaigns to distributors and re-sellers
Oversee the development of promotional literature, ads, web content and other creative marketing related projects
Manage distributor and re-seller marketing campaigns to ensure maximum exposure
Website management to continue improvement
Oversee the development and purchasing POS to be used in reseller stores and events to create maximum brand exposure
Management of all product packaging from the initial design to production
Work closely with the QC Manager and Purchasing Manager to manage the product data sets within the ERP and related systems
Visiting re-seller stores to keep informed about the POS and sales aids that may be required to promote the brand and maximise sales
Work with the sales and marketing team to develop marketing plans for all media channels
Plan and manage exhibitions and events held by the business
Working very closely with the sales team to provide the highest standard in resources to assist them in selling of products to our customers

Requirements of the Marketing Manager

The successful candidate will be highly enthusiastic, with the initiative to produce new industry first ideas to make us stand out from competitors
Well experienced in copywriting and producing press releases to be released to various outlets and audiences
Experience of managing a team, have a minimum of 3  years’ experience as a marketing manager
Experience in the following software applications; Klaviyo, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Microsoft applications such as Excel. SQL knowledge is preferred but not essential
Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns
Project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
The ideal candidate is someone that wants to take complete ownership of a marketing department in a fast growing and brand focussed business
