2Fawcett are recruiting for a Marketing Assistant, to join a great family business in Sheffield on a permanent basis.
The Marketing Assistant will support the development and execution of the company’s marketing and branding strategies

The Role & Responsibilities of the Marketing Assistant

Managing social media content and building the company’s social media profile.
Creating graphic designs and photographs for the website, social media, and marketing strategies.
Copy writing for social media, websites, blogs and newsletters.
Designing and organising the production of marketing materials.
Understanding brand guidelines and consistently implementing the brand voice across all channels and marketing materials.
Developing and maintaining the company’s websites including keeping product data up to date.
Increasing online sales.
Using analytics to ascertain the relative effectiveness of ongoing campaigns and understand the way users interact with the site.
Monitoring and analysing market and competitor information.
Monitoring marketing industry news and submitting reports on emerging trends to management.
Planning and executing promotional events.
Communicating with clients, customers, and external agencies.
Creating and delivering presentations.
Supporting the development and execution of the company’s marketing and branding strategies

Requirements of the Marketing Assistant

Diploma, Degree, or equivalent relevant experience in Marketing
Experience in content creating, website and social media platforms
Experience in managing and maintaining websites
Experience in basic graphic design
Keen eye for detail and a creative spark
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently
Driven, motivated and enthusiastic
Good decision making/problem solving/multi-tasking skills.
Able to work under pressure and accept constructive criticism of work
Knowledge of Google Analytics
Understanding of MS Office Packages
Full driving licence
