2fawcett are recruiting for a Management Accountant to work for a well established, ever growing and successful manufacturing and engineering business, based in Sheffield.

Assisting the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for managing the financial records, accounts and payments of all suppliers.

The Role & Responsibilities of the Management Accountant

• Financial compliance reporting
• Management accounting
• External audits
• Cash flow forecast
• Updating fixed asset register
• Cash management
• Monthly accruals and prepayments
• Budgeting
• Currency management
• Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with year end
• ​​​​​​​Audit management
• VAT returns
• Assisting with the production of management pack
• Cost and variance analysis
• Ad-hoc reporting as and when required

Requirements of the Management Accountant

• CIMA qualified / Part-qualified – desirable
• Qualified by experience is also considered
• Knowledge and experience using SAP
• Strong excel skills
