At 2fawcett we are excited to be recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator based in Coalville on a full time, permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be Supporting the Operations manager with the operations administration. A key part of this role will be to support the team in reviewing the current processes and implementing improvements to maximise efficiency.
The Role & Responsibilities of the Logistics Coordinator
- Be the first point of contact for courier deliveries
- Obtain quotes from transport providers for deliveries to UK and worldwide
- Chase failed / damaged deliveries with couriers within SLA timeframes
- Enter transport prices onto manifest
- Match invoices to manifest
- Communicate with customer services regarding status of delivery as required
- Any other duties as required to support the Transport manager
- Be the first point of contact for the operations team
- Allocate stock to orders
- Allocate orders to the warehouse picking staff
- Communicate with customer services regarding status oforders as required
- Assist the warehouse manager managing France and Italy sites
- Any other duties as required to support the Operations Manager

Requirements of the Logistics Coordinator
- Positive, innovative, forward thinking and highly motivated
- Previous experience in a Transport or Logistical background
- Proficient in Microsoft office and IT Literate
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Highly organised with good administrative skills
- Ability to take the initiative and make proposals on increasing efficiency
- Strong team player
- Confident and polite telephone manner

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
