About the Role:
2fawcett are supporting their established client, A thriving manufacturer in the infrastructure industry is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join their growing team. This position will support the strategic growth of the business by managing a new account and ensuring the efficient flow of inbound and outbound orders. Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, this role is integral to delivering the company’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule deliveries to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
  • Coordinate with transport providers to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
  • Oversee the accurate documentation of shipments, including invoices, delivery notes, and compliance paperwork.
  • Address and resolve delivery or logistics issues promptly and effectively.
  • Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure smooth operations and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for the logistics function.
  • Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards within the logistics operation.
  • Provide input and support for continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in manufacturing logistics and transport management.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • A background in leading small teams and contributing to strategic planning.
  • Experience with logistics software or ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Forklift Truck (FLT) license preferred.
