Interim Finance Controller / Head of Finance – 3 Month Contract
Location: Mansfield (On-Site)
Daily rate: Up to £550
Start Date: Within 2 Weeks
Hours: 3 days a week, to be agreed with the client

We’re currently supporting a growing business in Mansfield with their search for an Interim Finance Controller / Head of Finance on an initial 3-month contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a pivotal role within a multi-entity business, offering the chance to make a real impact during a key period of transition. You’ll be a hands-on leader, managing day-to-day finance operations while providing critical insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the finance department across multiple entities
• Supervising a team, providing leadership and guidance to optimise performance
• Production of management accounts and financial reports
• Cash-flow forecasting and analysis of profitability, variance, and budgeting
• Evaluating and managing financial risk
• Publishing and presenting financial statements to key stakeholders
• Analysing financial data to support commercial and strategic decision-making
• Managing costing systems across products and services
• Ensuring accounts and audits are compliant with regulatory standards

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Finance Controller / Head of Finance role
• A strong operational background – able to roll up your sleeves and get into the detail
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
• Comfortable adapting quickly, supporting the wider business, and driving performance during a busy period
