Are you an experienced Financial Controller looking for a new challenge?

We have an exciting opportunity to join our client’s team and lead the financial operations across several business entities. You will be leading a fantastic accounts team and supporting the Finance Director in the day-to-day running of the finance department.

Key Responsibilities of the Financial Controller:

  • Managing the finance department of multiple entities
  • Supervising a team, providing leadership and guidance to optimise performance
  • Production of management accounts and financial reports
  • Cash-flow forecasting
  • Analysis of profitability, variance and budgeting
  • Evaluating and managing financial risk
  • Publishing and presenting financial statements
  • Analysing financial data to support strategic decision-making
  • Managing costing systems
  • Ensuring accounts and audits are compliant
  • Working with foreign currencies and multiple systems

Requirements of the Financial Controller:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Part qualified + QBE considered
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller / Accountant
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams
  • Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Office suite.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
