About the Role: We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic and growing team in a market-leading company. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects within the design and production of specialist pipeline equipment and tooling, contributing to critical infrastructure systems used by major utility companies and engineering contractors.

You will be involved in the full lifecycle of equipment, from assembly and testing to on-site commissioning, and have the opportunity to travel both within the UK and internationally. With a focus on engineering excellence, this role offers great potential for career development and progression.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, wire, and commission high-precision pipeline equipment
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and build schematics
  • Perform functional testing, diagnostics, and fault-finding on electrical systems
  • Support prototype builds and contribute to product development
  • Provide remote and on-site product support to customers in the UK and overseas
  • Deliver hands-on training to clients on equipment usage, safety, and maintenance
  • Maintain accurate logs and systems for equipment registration and recall
  • Assist with process improvements and contribute feedback into product design
  • Travel for installations, demonstrations, and technical support when required
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, R&D, and production teams

Requirements:

  • HND or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience in electrical/electronic assembly or a similar role
  • Confident communicator, able to support clients at all levels
  • Mechanical and hydraulic fitting experience is a strong advantage
  • Solid IT skills with a keen attention to detail in documentation
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel
