Customer Service Administrator
Location: Derby
Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 DOE
Hours: 8.30-5pm
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Customer Service Administrator to join a fast-paced operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer enquiries via phone, live chat, and website
- Provide order updates, tracking information, and delivery support
- Manage returns and refunds
- Resolve delivery issues, missing or defective goods, and complaints
- Liaise with suppliers, warehouse, and internal teams
- Process and allocate customer orders efficiently
- Offer alternatives for backordered items to minimise cancellations
- Maintain accurate records and support reporting requirements
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous customer service or order processing experience
- Confident handling customer complaints and problem resolution
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working across multiple systems and suppliers
- Strong communication and time-management skills
