Customer Service Administrator
Location: Derby
Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 DOE
Hours: 8.30-5pm

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Customer Service Administrator to join a fast-paced operations team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer enquiries via phone, live chat, and website
  • Provide order updates, tracking information, and delivery support
  • Manage returns and refunds
  • Resolve delivery issues, missing or defective goods, and complaints
  • Liaise with suppliers, warehouse, and internal teams
  • Process and allocate customer orders efficiently
  • Offer alternatives for backordered items to minimise cancellations
  • Maintain accurate records and support reporting requirements

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous customer service or order processing experience
  • Confident handling customer complaints and problem resolution
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working across multiple systems and suppliers
  • Strong communication and time-management skills
