Position: Credit Control Administrator
Type: Full time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £27,500
Location: Chesterfield
2fawcett are working with a business in Chesterfield who are known to be market leaders. They are recruiting for a Credit Control Administrator to support the accounts team! Your role will be focused on support and administration of sales ledger and credit control.
Your duties as Credit Control Administrator may include:
- Handle the daily invoice generation and monthly penalty charges
- Conduct credit checks and process credit limit increase requests
- Assist the Credit Control Supervisor with direct debit preparations
- Prepare and distribute customer invoices, statements, and remittances
- Oversee the Credit Control inbox, ensuring timely responses to inquiries
- Manage Loss of Use claims by raising claims and actively following up on payments
- Communicate with customers to obtain purchase order numbers
- Processing sales and purchase invoices
- Performing other ad hoc and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements of the Credit Control Administrator:
- Experience in an Accounts support role
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Strong IT and Excel skills
