2fawcett Recruitment are supporting a well-established manufacturing business in Derby in the search for an experienced CNC Programmer to join their growing team.

The Role:

As CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for:

• Programming, setting and operating CNC machines (milling/turning – depending on background)
• Creating, editing and optimising CNC programs
• Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Ensuring components are produced to the highest quality standards
• Supporting continuous improvement of machining processes
• Working closely with production and engineering teams

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment
• Confident working with CNC controls (e.g. Fanuc, Heidenhain, Siemens, Mazatrol, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
• Experience with offline programming software is an advantage
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
