2fawcett are recruiting for an all-round Bookkeeper to join a fantastic charity in Rotherham! If you enjoy giving back to the community and have the relevant experience for this role, then this could be the opportunity for you!

The duties of the Bookkeeper include:

  • Enter purchase invoices and allocate to the correct nominal code
  • Raise sales invoices
  • Set up and manage payments
  • Manage the banking, recording cash/cheques
  • Review and update payee details
  • Reconcile bank accounts and statements
  • Prepare management accounts
  • Produce financial reports
  • Monitor income and expenditure
  • Report variances
  • Prepare payroll
  • VAT returns

Bookkeeper requirements:

  • Experience performing these duties
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Knowledge of accounting software and basic accounting principles (QuickBooks experience is beneficial)
