Administrator / Executive Assistant
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 per annum (DOE)

The Opportunity
2fawcett Recruitment are supporting a well-established construction business based in Nottingham to recruit an Executive & Plant Hire Administrator.
This varied role will provide direct administrative and executive support to senior leadership, while managing the coordination of plant, powered access, and company vehicle hire across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Executive Support
- Provide executive assistance to the Managing Director and senior leadership team.
- Manage diaries, arrange meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes.
- Draft correspondence, reports, and documentation as required.
- Support tender submissions, project documentation, and compliance paperwork.
- Maintain HR and training records, induction packs, and personnel files.
Plant, Vehicle & Equipment Hire Administration
- Coordinate the hire, allocation, and return of plant, powered access, and company vehicles.
- Maintain accurate hire registers and track costs and utilisation.
- Liaise with suppliers to secure competitive hire rates and manage schedules.
- Monitor hire durations to avoid unnecessary costs.
- Oversee servicing and inspection records for company assets.
- Ensure compliance with LOLER, PUWER, and related regulations.
General Office & Operational Support
- Provide document control and admin support to project teams.
- Assist in the coordination of company events, meetings, and communications.
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
About You
- Proven experience in an administrative, PA, or executive assistant role (construction industry preferred).
- Background in plant hire, fleet, or vehicle administration highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and general office systems.
- Knowledge of H&S or compliance processes (LOLER, PUWER) advantageous.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a busy environment.
