Job Type: Full-Time (flexible working hours considered) & On Site, 9am – 5pm
Pay: £16.00 per hour (experience dependent, with KPI-related bonuses)
Job Overview:
Our highly established client are seeking a motivated Accounts Manager to oversee all aspects of finance in a fast-paced office environment. This role involves managing a high volume of transactions, supporting day-to-day finance operations, and developing processes as the business grows. You will report directly to the Managing Director and have the opportunity to build and manage a finance team in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Ledger & Receipts
- Manage the sales ledger (approx. 1,000 transactions per month)
- Post daily receipts from Stripe, PayPal, and bank accounts into Xero
- Reconcile sales ledger accounts and send customer statements
- Respond to customer service and account queries
- Provide credit control support
Purchases & Supplier Management
- Match goods receipts to purchase orders and invoices
- Process purchase invoices using Hubdoc/Xero
- Reconcile supplier accounts
- Manage supplier payments
Payroll & Cashflow
- Administer payroll
- Monitor cashflow and liaise with the Director
Reporting & Stock
- Oversee stock control
- Produce monthly P&L statements and management packs
Team & Administration
- Oversee and support the Finance Assistant
- Provide general administrative support to the management and sales teams
Requirements & Skills:
- Experience using Xero preferred (training can be provided)
- Previous experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel required
- 1+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with autonomy
