The duties of the Accounts Manager include:
- Enter purchase invoices and allocate to the correct nominal code
- Raise sales invoices
- Set up and manage payments
- Manage the banking, recording cash/cheques
- Review and update payee details
- Reconcile bank accounts and statements
- Prepare management accounts
- Produce financial reports
- Monitor income and expenditure
- Report variances
- Prepare payroll
- VAT returns
Accounts Manager requirements:
- Experience performing these duties
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong Excel skills
- Knowledge of accounting software and basic accounting principles (QuickBooks experience is beneficial)
- AAT Qualification is desirable
