2fawcett are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a company located in Chester on a permanent, full time basis.

The Role & Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant
– Ensure all invoices are authorised
– Record all purchases and purchase ledger and match with purchase orders
– Manage all invoice queries
– Match invoices to delivery notes
– Reconcile supplier payments to purchase ledger
– Check monthly statements
– Check monthly asset codes for review
– Review weekly salary deductions
– Reconcile net wages, PAYE, credit card and petty cash monthly
– Follow month end check for preparation
– Answer incoming calls
– Ad hoc administration tasks

Requirements of the Accounts Assistant
– Experience in a similar role
– Good knowledge of Xero
– Excellent communication skills
– Attention to detail
