Overview
2Fawcett are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a company located in Doncaster on a full-time basis.
Our client is a well-established, engineering company looking for someone with Accounts Assistant experience to work closely with the existing finance team, to help with the on-going success and growth of the business.
The Role & Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant
General accounts duties
Set up new supplier accounts
Administration of sales ledger and credit control
Liaise with suppliers and other departments
Process purchase invoices
Ad-hoc tasks as required to assist the Finance department
Assisting the payroll department when required
Internal reporting
Query resolution
Prepare supplier payment run
Develop purchase ledger processes
Ensuring accurate ledgers allocated to purchase payments
Reconciliation of delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders
Requirements of the Account Assistant
SAGE 50
Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
Bookkeeping experience
Understanding of purchase/sales ledger cycles
