2fawcett are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to work for a business who is trusted and reliable provider, known for delivering personalised service to their customers in Leicester and the surrounding areas. Our busy finance team is now looking for an Accounts Assistant with experience in payroll and pensions. The Role & Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant
Payroll Management:
Manages three payrolls for 120 employees, completing end-to-end payroll processes using Brightpay.
Inputs production hours into Epicor and oversees general payroll administration.
Pension Administration:
Enters pension data onto the portal, ensuring all records are current and accurate.
Manages general pension-related administrative tasks.
General Accounts Administration:
Provides essential support with day-to-day accounts administration.
Audit Assistance:
Supports the annual audit by liaising with auditors, entering data onto the portal, and conducting follow-up tasks.
International Operations Support:
Assists with accounts for the US operation, including balance sheet reconciliations, gross margin analysis, and bank reconciliations.
Bank Reconciliations & Cashflows:
Regularly performs bank reconciliations and monitors cashflows for accurate financial tracking.
Requirements of the Accounts Assistant
Previous experience within a similar role ideally within a SME business
Payroll experience is essential for this role
AAT qualified or qualified by experience considered
Competent user of MS Excel
