Overview
2fawcett are recruiting for a Accounts Assistant, to join a business located in Chesterfield on a permanent, full time basis.
As the accounts assistant, you will be reporting to the Finance Manager, providing accounts and administrative support.
The Role & Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant
– Inputting invoice data for sales and purchase invoices
– Reconciling bank accounts
– Checking purchasing invoices against relevant orders
– Ensuring all timesheets are collected on time for payment
– Calculating and processing payroll
– Updating new employees on Sage payroll
– Assisting with financial audits and controls
– Completing general office duties and document control
– Updating suppliers and customers on Sage Accounts
– Checking purchasing invoices against relevant orders
Requirements of the Accounts Assistant
– Microsoft Excel knowledge
– Experience in using SAGE
– Experience of administering payroll
