2Fawcett are recruiting for an accounts administrator, to join a company located in Ripley on a permanent basis.
Working for this family run business you will be joining a small but friendly team working for an ISO accredited training provider. Working as the accounts administrator you will report directly into office manager and be responsible for supporting with the finance function as well as supporting with office duties.

The Role & Responsibilities of the Accounts Administrator

  • Accurately inputting and processing of invoices including weekly Sub Contractor invoices and preparing these ready for payment.
  • Cost summary for all current and completed projects.
  • Supplier reconciliation to ensure creditors listing are accurate (supplier statement reconciliations).
  • Assisting with month end duties as required including bank reconciliation.
  • Maintaining and reviewing purchase ledger allocate payments, chasing invoices, direct debit payments and chasing refunds/credits.
  • Verifying CIS Contractors and ensuring details are keep up to date.
  • Cross checking delivery tickets to invoices.
  • Filing and archiving of invoices and credit notes.
  • Be a point of contact and deal with account queries.
  • Booking of training courses for both internal and external contractors
  • Ensuring H&S and training paperwork is accounted for and accurately filed for compliance purposes

Requirements of the Accounts Administrator

  • Be able to time manage and priorities own workload
  • Have previously worked within an accounts function previously
  • Previous usage of Accounts software would be advantageous but not essential
  • Previous experience of CIS and sub-contractors would be beneficial
