2fawcett are recruiting for an Accounts Administrator to join a company located in Goole. This is a pivotal role for the business and they’re looking for an enthusiastic candidate to really make the role their own!
Responsibilities of the Accounts Administrator:
- Oversee the payroll process for both weekly and salaried employees, including managing new starters and leavers.
- Collect, verify, and input employee hours into the payroll system accurately.
- Handle HMRC submissions and statutory reporting requirements.
- Prepare payroll journals and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Provide cover for purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control.
- Reconcile pension contributions to maintain compliance and accuracy.
- Download and reconcile payroll reports to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Requirements of the Accounts Administrator:
- Experience with weekly and monthly payroll processing
- Previous experience using Iris and/or Sage would be beneficial
- Ability to start at short notice would be beneficial
