Role: Estimation Engineer
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Barnsley
Hours: Monday-Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am – 3:30pm (paid until 5:00pm)
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum

Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Estimating, with a background in Manufacturing Engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting 2D/3D Engineering drawings, and managing technical specifications within quotations.
- Qualifications: Degree or equivalent in Engineering.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to maintain estimating standards and ensure accuracy in costing.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication with customers and colleagues, particularly regarding legal and contractual obligations.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to manage and resolve customer complaints and concerns efficiently.
Desirable:
- Fabrication Engineering Background: Experience in this area will be advantageous.
- Engineering Contracts: Familiarity with engineering contracts.
- Factory Master System: Experience with this system is a plus.
